Every fall season, Katy families enjoy the cooler weather and the spirit of the season by visiting fall festivals and local pumpkin patches. You can get photos of your kids in the pumpkins and pick out your very own to take home an decorate. Here’s our guide to the best fall festivals pumpkin patches in the Katy area:

Crosspoint Christian Church Fall Fest

When: Friday, October 28 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Where: 700 Westgreen Blvd, Katy, TX 77450

What: This year’s Fall Fest will feature: indoor games, including a mini-maze, outdoor obstacles and inflatables, a Candy Land zone, a photo booth, a family creation station, toddler and junior high/high school zones, prizes, food available from Chick-fil-A and much more!

Cinco Ranch Church of Christ Treat Street Fest

When: Friday, October 28 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Where: 6655 S Mason Rd, Katy, Texas 77450

What: Treat Street Fest is a safe, family friendly event for children 2 years old through 5th grade and their families. There are trunk or treat areas, bounce houses, a family fun zone, and a chance to win a few goodies. Food will be available for purchase.

How much: Tickets are $2 per person in advance or $4 per person at the event. Children 2 and under are free. You can purchase a family ticket for families of four or more for $10 online.

Bridgeland Howl-o-ween Fest

When: Saturday, October 29 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Where: Oak Meadow Park

What: Bridgeland will have food trucks, kids’ activities, pumpkin decorating, trick-or treating for pets and kids, roaming entertainment, a magic show, pet product and service vendors, pet rescue groups that will offer onsite adoptions, and the pooch fashion show and costume contest.

La Centerra Fall Family Fun Fest

When: Sunday, October 30 12-4 p.m.

What: This fun, free event celebrates all things fall at LaCenterra!

Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church Trunk or Treat

When: Saturday, October 29th 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Where: 6035 S. Fry Road Katy, TX 77450

Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church’s free Trunk or Treat event will have lots of candy, games, food truck, and live music.

Oil Ranch Pumpkin Patch & Scarecrow Festival

In the month of October, Oil Ranch in nearby Hockley offers thousands of pumpkins available for sale. They decorate many of their own pumpkins and also have ranch activities including a hayride.

Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Oil Ranch recommends that you call ahead at 281-859-1616 to check weather and availability.

Cost: $14.95 per person ages 24 months and up. Includes a pumpkin for children as well as all regular ranch activities.

Katy First United Methodist Church

Katy First United Methodist Church’s pumpkin patch is one of Katy’s most popular. Visit in Old Katy and make a nice evening of it!

Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

Cost: Free admission, pumpkins available for sale.

Blessington Farms Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival

Always a good choice for seasonal fun, Blessington Farms has fall activities in Farm Funland as well as an endless supply of pumpkins. Enjoy a petting zoo, train rides, hayrides, and more.

Hours: 9:30-2:30 Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through October 30th

Cost: $15 per person 18 months and up. Pumpkins priced .50 per pound and up. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic.

Dewberry Farm

Another great choice for fall fun, Dewberry has acres of pumpkins as well as a corn maze. You can also tour a lighted display of pumpkins, ride a train, and take kiddos to Little Farmersville.

Hours: Weekends only. 10:00 a.m. to dusk (about 6:30) Saturdays, 12:00 p.m. to dusk Sundays.

Cost: Children 2 and under free general admission. 3 and up $12, special pricing available for seniors and military.

Halter, Inc.

Open weekends in October, Halter, Inc. has 30 acres of fall fun. You can pick out a pumpkin, walk the haunted trail, take a pony ride, and eat from a local food truck. This pumpkin patch benefits animal therapy for special needs children and offers volunteer opportunities for at risk teens.

Hours: Weekends only through October, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Cost: Parking $5 per car, Admission $5 per child 2-16 (adults free). Activities and pumpkins are available by purchasing tickets ranging from $1 in cost to $20 (for large pumpkins). Petting zoo and pumpkin shopping is free.

St. Peter’s United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Benefiting church missions, the pumpkin patch at St. Peter’s in Katy is open all of October, or until they sell out!

Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday
